The Essex Community Development Corporation (Essex CDC) announced two new businesses are opening on the Eastern Boulevard corridor in Essex with two ribbon cuttings on Saturday, Sept. 20.
The Comfy Cup is located at 25 Eastern Blvd., Suite 98B and will hold its ribbon cutting Saturday at 9 a.m.
Baltimore Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, located at 501 Eastern Blvd. will hold its ribbon cutting an hour later at 11 a.m.
According to the Essex CDC, both business openings are made possible through Project Restore 2.0, a Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development program administered by Essex CDC to reactivate vacant spaces.
“Both owners are proud Essex residents who are bringing new energy, opportunity, and community spirit to our main street,” said a statement from Essex CDC
“Come out, show your support, and help us welcome these incredible new businesses to Essex.”
