Baltimore County Police released an update on the shooting in Dundalk as this was reported as an officer involved shooting.
Police were called to the 2100 block of Larkhall Road on Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. after shots were fired.
According to police, officers observed the suspect in the window and responded to the actions of the armed subject.
That resulted in a total of six Baltimore County Police officers discharging their firearms striking the adult male.
The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene. No officers or other members of the public were injured during this incident. Police said a firearm was recovered from the scene.
The Independent Investigations Division with the Office of the Attorney General is investigating this matter. Pursuant to policy, the officers are on administrative leave.
All six officers were equipped with body-worn cameras.
