The committee charged with revising the school boundaries of three southeastern-area elementary schools (Chase, Oliver Beach, and Seneca elementary schools) needs interested community members to attend a public information session on Oct. 22 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Middle River Middle School cafeteria, 800 Middle River Road.
Following a brief presentation on the committee’s work, attendees can speak one-on-one with committee members to ask questions and share their thoughts about draft options.
Participants viewing the livestream may ask questions and receive answers via a chat during the
broadcast.
All are also encouraged to take an online survey from October 22 through November 9.
This feedback is essential to the committee’s work.
The committee’s study seeks to maximize the use of available space and balance enrollment among Chase, Oliver Beach, and Seneca elementary schools.
New boundary lines would be effective for the start of the 2026-2027 school year, pending approval from the Board of Education of Baltimore County.
