Marks Continues to Oppose Chapel Road Development Plan

The following article was submitted by County Councilman David Marks about his opposition to the Perry Hall Chapel Estates Planned Unit Development

Baltimore County Councilman David Marks repeated his opposition to the Perry Hall Chapel Estates Planned Unit Development proposal.

The developer is hold a second community input to attempt to persuade neighbors to support the project.

“Approving higher density along Chapel Road will create pressure for other property owners to intensify development on their land,” Councilman Marks commented.  “Planned Unit Developments should be approved for unique projects that have community support, not simply to increase profits.

“I will continue to support zoning along the Chapel Road corridor that preserves, to the greatest extent possible, the historically rural character of this route.”
