Delegate Bob Long announced he is hosting a Pre-Session Town Hall on Monday, Nov. 17 at the Essex Library, starting at 6 p.m. Here is his release:
During the town hall, I will have a preview of the upcoming session. I will present my legislative package and provide information on how to testify on my bills.
I will also review the process to appeal property taxes before the Dec. 31 deadline. I want to especially encourage residents who are living around the Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant to appeal their taxes with all the negative environmental impacts of midges and pollution during the past few years.
