Sparrows Point High’s football season is over after the team lost at home 42-13 to Henry Lackey in the 2A/1A State Quarterfinals.
Chase Carnahan scored on a 26-yard run touchdown in the first half and Cameron Watkins added another 12-yard touchdown run late in the game but that is all the Pointer offense could score.
There were other promising Sparrows Point drives that ended in a turnover.
Lackey was able to score on big plays in the win.
Sparrows Point finished the season at 10-1.
