The following article was submitted by Sixth District Delegate Bob Long reflecting on the holiday season and preparing for the upcoming session
As 2025 comes to an end and the holiday season begins, this is an important time to pause and spend time with our families. It’s also a good time to reflect with gratitude, the blessings that we received throughout the year.
However, this period of rest also helps regroup for the work ahead. As the new year approaches, so does the start of the upcoming legislative session.
While we celebrate, we remain mindful of the significant responsibilities awaiting us at the State and local level.
The decisions made in the coming months will directly impact our schools, local businesses, and community.
After the holidays, I will be hosting a Pre-Session Legislative Breakfast.
There I will outline my legislation for the session, discuss the major challenges facing our district, and, most importantly, listen to your input and concerns.
Please join me at The Boulevard Diner in Dundalk on Saturday, Jan. 3 from 10 a.m. – noon.
