Baltimore County Councilman David Marks invited members of the community to an upcoming Perry Hall Improvement Association at which safety improvements to the Silver Spring Road corridor will be discussed.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 8 at 7 p.m. at the Brightview Perry Hall (9657 Belair Road).
Representatives from the Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation will be on hand to discuss the proposed changes.
They will also provide an update on the water main replacement in the Silver Spring Road and Hallfield Manor Drive area.
Notes from the meeting will be recorded for those who cannot attend.
“We have long pushed for improvements in the Silver Spring Road corridor, which was poorly designed in the 1980s to push traffic through with little consideration for safety of motorists and neighbors,” Councilman Marks commented.
“We are also grateful that funding was included in the budget for a long-needed upgrade of the water main. Thank you to the Perry Hall Improvement Association for sponsoring this meeting.”
