Baltimore County Police Department arrested 36-year-old Christopher M. Carroll on Wednesday, following an investigation that began in November 2025.
The investigation was initiated after detectives received reports that Carroll had tampered with and contaminated items that were later consumed.
According to police, detectives obtained video evidence through the investigation depicting and/or suggesting conduct that resulted in individuals unknowingly coming into contact with, or ingesting, Carroll’s bodily fluids.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Carroll as he surrendered to authorities on Wednesday.
Carroll has been charged with multiple offenses, including destruction of property and knowingly and willfully causing another to ingest bodily fluids.
He is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
