Baltimore County Police Department arrested 27-year-old Quevin Pixola-Lara in connection with the murder of 33-year-old Jose Caceres-Santos.
Police responded to the area of Bel Air Road in Kingsville, after a motorist reported a body lying off the shoulder of the roadway on Jan. 1, 2024.
Arriving officers found Caceres-Santos, who was pronounced deceased at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
Pixola-Lara has been charged with multiple offenses, including first-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on no bond. The Baltimore County Police Department said they credit thank the Federal Bureau of Investigation Baltimore Field Office, the Transnational Anti-Gang Task Force (TAG) — Guatemala, and the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force for their assistance in this investigation, apprehension, and extradition of this suspect.
