Eastern Tech Boys Lax wears down Patapsco 12-2 in 2nd half

Eastern Tech’s offense, led by Phil Pham, Issac  Klos, and  Dylan Dunn, was too much as the Mavericks defeated Patapsco 12-2 in the second round of Boys Lacrosse 2A North Region II.

Patapsco’s All-County goalie Nate Abshire kept his team into the game with 14 first-half saves and help from defenders Adrian Henry, Bryan Taylor and John Martin.

Eastern Tech eventually wore down Patapsco with nine second-half goals

Abshire allowed one goal in the first quarter and a half, but Phil Pham scored with 6:17 remaining in the first half. Dylan Dunn scored his second goal right before half. Evan Waclawski had both assists on Dunn’s first half goals.

Maverick goalie Matt Farkas shut out Patapsco in the first half. Nick Adkins  and Sean Guarnera scored the two Patapsco goals in the second half.

Eastern Tech will host Bel Air in the regional finals on Monday, May 11 at 4 p.m.
