Three local high school athletes won state titles in track and field and one of those student athletes won two state titles at the MPSSAA State Track & Field Championships at Morgan State over the holiday weekend.
Kenwood’s Myles Venable won two state titles. The junior had a time of 10.55a (0.9) in the 100 Meters 4A – Finals for the top spot and finished first in the 200 Meters 4A – Finals with a time of 10.99a.
Parkville senior Rommel Marquez Jr. (pictured) finished in first place in the with a distance of 46-09.00.16 in the Triple Jump 4A – Finals
Sparrows Point senior Sincere Noble won the High Jump 2A – Finals Field Series with a distance of 6-04.00.
