Police officer shot in Pikesville area

There have been reports of a Baltimore County police officer being shot in the Pikesville area on Sunday.

Baltimore County Police reported there was an incident in the 900 block Milford Mill Road on Sunday morning.

“At approximately 8:50 a.m., officers from our Pikesville Precinct were responding to a suspicious person/indecent exposure call along a trail off Milford Mill Road when they were fired upon by an armed subject,”  said a statement on Baltimore County Police’s X.com page

One officer was struck and transported to Shock Trauma.”

The Baltimore County Fraternal Order of Police confirmed one of their officers were involved in an incident.

“Earlier today, a critical incident occurred involving one of our dedicated officers from the Pikesville Precinct. The situation is still developing, and we are working to ensure the officer and their family have all the immediate support they need,” said a statement from the FOP
