Police need help in identifying remains in 2024 Kingsville case

Baltimore County Police Department is isseeking help in identifying remains that were discovered were discovered in Kingsville in 2024.

According to police, officers responded to the 8300 block of Bradshaw Road on March 9, 2024 and located a human skull in a wooded area.

A subsequent search conducted on March 27, 2024, by homicide detectives and volunteers with the Chesapeake Search and Rescue Dog Association, resulted in several bones being located in close proximity to each other.

Forensic investigators with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner later determined the bones and skull were likely those of a Hispanic female between the ages of 20 and 30 years old.

Despite extensive investigative efforts, including DNA analysis and Genetic Genealogy, detectives have been unable to identify the woman. Investigators are asking anyone who has a family member, friend, or loved one who disappeared around or before March 2024 and has not been heard from since to contact the Baltimore County Police Department Homicide/Missing Persons Unit at 410-887-4636.

Detectives are also encouraging anyone who may know of a person whose disappearance was never reported to come forward. Even information that may seem insignificant could help identify the woman.

At this time, the cause and manner of death remain undetermined.
