Dundalk wins the East Division in flag football. This was the inaugural season and all 24 Baltimore County schools were divided into three regional divisions and played a round robin schedule.

Dundalk defeated all of the seven East side schools to finish 7-0.

Dundalk and all the rest begin the state playoffs. The State playoffs are divided into three classifications based on a school’s size.

Here are the local schools and their road in the playoffs.

4A/3A North I
Dundalk will take the number one seed in this region and receives a first-round bye.
The Owls will host the winner of Dulaney-Kenwood.

The Bluebirds takes the fifth seed and play at fourth ranked Dulaney on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

On the other side of the bracket, Parkville is a second seed and recieves a first-round bye.

Perry Hall claims the third seed and will play at home against Woodlawn in Round One. The winner plays at Parkville in the second round.

3A/2A North II
There are only four playoff teams in this region and all four receive byes into the second round.

These second round match-ups are very intriguing as both are City vs. County schools. Poly is the top seed and they will host Overlea in the region semifinals. Eastern Tech host the other 3A/2A North II semifinals as they play Patterson. The winners meet in the region finals.

All regular season games were against each team’s respective region so there were no out of conference games to use as a reference point for any comparison in these upcoming City-County games.

2A/1A North Region II
Sparrows Point takes the 3rd seed and Chesapeake takes the 6th seed and both schools meet at Sparrows Point today in the first round.

The winner plays at Dunbar in the region semifinals.
