4A/3A North I
The Kenwood Bluebirds were able to knock off undefeated Dundalk in four overtimes. Annette Jones threw a touchdown pass to Abigail Wollschlager for the 12-6 upset.
Dundalk was the number one seed in the 4A North I Region after going 7-0 during the regular season. The Owls defeated Kenwood 8-7 in the regular season. Kenwood opened up the playoffs with a road win over Dulaney 18-12.
The Bluebirds will play at Perry Hall for the regional title. The Gators defeated Parkville 19-0 in the other 4A/3A North I Regional Semifinals. Perry Hall hasn’t allowed a point in the playoffs after beating Woodlawn in the first round 36-0.
3A/2A North II
Eastern Tech and Overlea both received byes but both lost their first game in the Regional Semifinals to Baltimore City schools. Overlea lost at Poly 46-2 and Eastern Tech was defeated at home against Patterson 12-8.
2A/1A North II
Chesapeake upsets Sparrows Point in the first round on the road 18-14 but the Bayhawks season ended at Dunbar 34-0.
