The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reported crews responded to a two-alarm commercial building fire with explosion at the Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant in the 8200 block of Eastern Ave.
The fire was reported on Wednesday, March 15 at 11:30 a.m.
Fire is reported to be gas fed and that has caused unstable areas in the building.
Evacuation is in progress. No injuries reported at this time.
