Baltimore County Public Library presents s virtual presentation for caregivers on Tuesday, July 21 from 12:30pm – 1:30 p.m.
Author and caregiver Dr. Sheri Yarbrough discusses navigating the challenges and finding the joys that come with being a caregiver.
In her book, OMG! I’m the Grown-Up!: A Conversation on Giving-Care to a Loved One…and Yourself, Dr. Sheri Yarbrough lays out a template to balance the needs of both caregiver and caregivee.
In this interactive program, Dr. Sheri shares strategies that direct caregivers to actions satisfying to both people, explains the concept of giving-care, covers how to handle difficult relationships that impede healthy caregiving and guides participants in creating an individualized care journey.
