The Essex Community Development Corporation (Essex CDC) announced it has received grant funding from the state of Maryland DHCD Community Safety Work Program. Essex CDC released the official statement:
“We are thrilled to announce that Essex CDC has been awarded $100,000.00 in funding to support the second phase of a public safety project to install exterior security camera systems on businesses and commercial properties in designated areas of Essex.
“This project will contribute to enhancing safety in the area and will provide assistance to investigators in solving crimes in Essex.
“Essex CDC is honored once again to be stewards of these funds to help support the Essex community.”
