The Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 486 Training School in Rosedale is hosting an Open House on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is the chance to learn more about apprenticeship opportunities and careers in the skilled trades.
The Open House is open to anyone interested in learning more about the Apprenticeship Program, including students, recent graduates, career changers, and individuals interested in pursuing a career in the skilled trades.
During the Open House, attendees will have the opportunity to:
• Tour the classrooms and hands-on lab spacesLearn about the trades offered
• Meet current apprentices and instructor
• Ask questions about the application process and career opportunities
Whether you are an advocate for workforce development, education, or economic growth, you are welcome to see how UA Local 486 is creating meaningful pathways into the skilled trades.
Applications for the 2027–2028 school year will be accepted on November 2, 2026. Applications will be accepted through November 30, 2026, and classes will begin in September 2027.
