Giant Food opened its newly remodeled Parkville store located at 7709 Hartford Road on August 7.
The grand reopening showcased modernized amenities, including an expanded seafood department, a broader selection of international foods, a Ledo pizza Corner Shop, a full-service sushi bar with in-store chef, and a variety of prepared food offerings.
“Being part of the Giant family is a very special experience because you are not only connected to more than 20,000 associates, but our customers become family.” said Donna Perkins, Giant Food #2305 Store Manager.
“Our store truly becomes a home for everyone who steps through our doors in Parkville.”
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Giant Food celebrated its Clean Water Partnership with a $85K donation to the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay to implement sustainability practices on local Maola dairy farms in the Chesapeake Bay.
Collected through a round-up program in Giant Food’s more than 162 stores, the funding supports work under their partnership.
