Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce, Essex Community Development Corporation, elected officials and community leaders attended Tony Pearce-State Farm Agent and Team’s grand re-opening in Essex on Wednesday.
Essex Community Development Corporation released a statement about the event.
“It’s been well over a year since a fire took out Tony’s building, and to say it’s been challenging to get business back up and running again from the same location is an understatement.
“It has been a labor of love. And it exemplifies many of the business owners we have here in Essex. Strong, committed and unwilling to give up! We are honored that he chose to rebuild here in Essex! Thank you, Tony, and team for not giving up. You are resilient, just like this great community of Essex.”
