Woody’s Pub in Essex announced they are partnering together with the local community and Home Depot, to purchase 31 brand-new window air conditioners to give away FREE to those who need them most.
The pickup event is scheduled for Saturday July 11 from noon to 2 p.m. Woody’s Pub, located at 11 Margaret Avenue in Essex.
Woody’s said the goal is to get these A/C units into the hands of senior citizens and local families in the Essex area who may not be able to afford one during this heat.
“If you or someone you know could truly benefit from a free air conditioner, please send a private message to Bryan Bierly soon as possible. Please note: you must be able to pick up the unit this Saturday between noon to 2 p.m.” said a statement from the Essex area pub.
“We have a limited supply, so we’ll do our best to help as many people as we can. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. This is what community is all about.”
