The following article was submitted by Baltimore County Councilman David Marks about three new playgrounds scheduled for the Fifth District
Baltimore County Councilman David Marks announced today that three new playgrounds are set for construction in 2026 in the Fifth District, replacing older ones that are now overused or obsolete.
Playgrounds are scheduled to be replaced at Andrea Avenue in Carney, Beldale Court in the Dunfield area, and at Kingsville Park.
Equipment has been designed based on public feedback. The county’s playground dashboard provides more information
“I am pleased with the progress we have made replacing and improving our playgrounds in 2025, and look forward to these new projects in 2026,” Councilman Marks commented.
“I thank the Department of Recreation and Parks for its support.”
