The CCBC Essex women’s basketball team won the NJCAA DII Region 20 Women’s Basketball championship and Mid-Atlantic Championship on Sunday. The Lady Knights are now 26–3 and have qualified for the NJCAA DII Women’s Basketball National Championship tournament, taking place March 16-21 in Hickory, NC.

Perry Hall High School announced boys basketball players Nnamdi Ezeaputa, Nazir Anderson, and Marcus Smith were selected to the Baltimore County All-County Basketball Team.
