Baltimore County Recreation and Parks celebrates Park and Recreation month with Days of Play — free, supervised, drop-in play designed just for kids ages 8 to 14.
The event takes place in Dundalk and Essex for the next two weeks.
“Fast-paced games, quick-play sports, and plenty of fresh-air fun — all while building teamwork, confidence, and new skills. Whether your child loves to run, jump, toss, or just be active, there’s something for everyone,” Baltimore County Rec. and Parks said in a statement on social media.
The event is entirely walk-in; no advance registration, but a parent or guardian must sign a waiver on-site
The Dundalk date is Monday, July 7 at the Southeast Regional Recreation Center, 4021 North Point Blvd. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Essex event will be held on Wednesday. July 16 at Back River Community Center, 801 Back River Neck Rd. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
