The Essex Community Development Corporation is holding a Eastern Blvd Commercial Corridor Trash Clean Up on Monday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Essex Park & Ride.
This cleanup provides community service, community building, and environmental impact as volunteers will clean up Eastern Boulevard and help prevent litter from reaching the Chesapeake Bay.
School are closed so this is a chance to earn service hours, meet new friends, take pride in your community.
The Essex CDC provides trash bags, gloves, coffee, food and refreshments.
Volunteers are asked to bring closed-toe shoes & appropriate clothing, reusable bottle of water and rain gear (if needed)
