Improving Traffic & Pedestrian Safety for Eastern Blvd Meeting

The Essex Community Development Corporation is holding a community input meeting: Improving Traffic and Pedestrian Safety on Eastern Boulevard on Tuesday,  Dec. 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Mount Carmel School, 1704 Old Eastern Avenue in Essex.

Join Essex Community Development Corporation for an open house-style community meeting to learn about and share your thoughts on possible improvements to Eastern Boulevard that aim to enhance traffic flow, parking, and pedestrian safety through Essex (Back River Bridge to 702).

This project, led in partnership with Wallace Montgomery, a Baltimore County-based traffic engineering firm, has been underway for several months.

Come to this meeting to see what the traffic professionals are proposing, and share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas as Essex locals who walk and drive this strip every day.

Your feedback will help shape the recommendations that will be presented to Baltimore County and the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA).
