In honor of Baltimore County Police Detective Paul Hoke, County Executive Kathy Klausmeier has ordered the Baltimore County flag be flown at half-staff outside all County agencies.
It was also added that Detective Hoke’s detective vehicle and post car from Precinct 6-Towson have been draped in bunting in front of the Baltimore County Public Safety Building, located at 700 East Joppa Road, 21286.
Detective Hoke began his career with the Department as a Cadet in December 1995.
At the time of his passing, he had served the residents of Baltimore County for 30 years.
Detective Hoke passed away on Jan. 2 after experiencing a medical emergency while on duty December 31, 2025. He is 11th Baltimore County police officer to die in the line of duty.
Funeral arrangements will be released when available and in coordination with the family.
