The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) will hold a public informational hearing on regarding the Maryland Transportation Authority’s (MDTA) request to amend its permit for the Francis Scott Key Bridge Rebuild.
The hearing takes place on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at the North Point Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department. Hearing begins at 5:30 p.m. with a poster session from 4:30–5:30 p.m.
The amendment shifts the main bridge alignment 260 feet east to avoid submerged remains of the original structure.
