–Fifth District County Councilman David Marks sent out a statement that he supports reducing development around the southeastern side of the Bird River-
I am announcing another rezoning recommendation.
I will be recommending Resource Conservation zoning for 18 acres along the southeastern side of the Bird River, and the removal of all development potential for the county-owned land at the Days Cove Park property.
If you are mad about mud and the quality of the Bird River, decisions like this should help avoid overdevelopment of sensitive areas in the future.
The Baltimore County Council will adopt the new zoning map in August.
