Roadwork scheduled for US 40 in Middle River on Tuesday

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration announced crews will patch segments of pavement along eastbound US 40 (Pulaski Highway) between MD 700 (Martin Boulevard) and Middle River Road in Middle River as soon as Tuesday night, June 16.

The work will be completed by 5 a.m. Thursday morning, weather permitting.

SHA will patch segments of pavement where needed along one mile of eastbound US 40 and will work overnight Tuesday and Wednesday between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

There will be temporary left- and right-lane closures in effect on both nights. In case of inclement weather, the work will be performed on the next possible weeknight (Sunday to Thursday).

Contractor crews and flaggers will use temporary traffic signs and cones to control traffic through the work zone on eastbound US 40.
