Officer Nicholas Borsa was named Officer of the Year by the Parkville Police Community Relations Council (PCRC)
He was honored at an awards ceremony at Christus Victor Lutheran Church on Tuesday night.
Delegate Ryan Nawrocki presented Borsa a Maryland House of Delegates Citation in recognition of his award.
According to Nawrocki, Borsa has honored for hisdedication, professionalism, and commitment to the Parkville Precinct and Parkville community
“His example reminds us of the vital role our law enforcement officers play in keeping all our neighborhoods safe,” Nawrocki said.
Councilman David Marks and Mike Ertel also attended the ceremony.
“Officer Borsa epitomizes outstanding service and hard work,” Marks said on social media.
Ertel added that was a well-deserved award for Borsa.
“His exceptional dedication, high number of responses to calls for service at local communities and businesses in 2024, and proactive efforts granted him to win this award,” Ertel said.
