Construction to Begin Next Week on Perry Hall Roundabout

Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation announced it will begin constructing the roundabout project the intersection of Honeygo Boulevard and Cross Road in Perry Hall next week. Here is the full statement from Baltimore County

Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation, weather permitting, will begin work Tuesday, Oct. 7 on an interim measure to alleviate traffic safety concerns at the intersection of Honeygo Boulevard and Cross Road in Perry Hall.

The measure includes the installation of flexiposts that will restrict Cross Road through traffic and left turns onto Honeygo Boulevard.

This interim measure came about following community input over the need to provide immediate traffic safety relief while DPWT continues with the County’s plan to construct a roundabout at that location.

With the installation of the flexiposts, DPWT will continue with roundabout design, right-of-way acquisition and construction unless there is community interest otherwise. The roundabout can only be built with right-of-way acquisition, which has no guarantee on a specific timeline.

In addition, following community requests, DPWT is conducting a traffic signal warrant analysis at Honeygo Boulevard at Gunpowder Road. We will provide the community with an additional update once the analysis is completed.
