Councilman Marks: Nominations Sought for 5th District Citizen of the Year

Baltimore County Councilman David Marks announced today the start of nominations for the Fifth District Citizens of the Year program.

This initiative, started in 2011, honors volunteers who work above and beyond to improve their neighborhoods.

Nominees should be residents of the Fifth County Council district, and should have worked, in a nonpartisan way, on projects to improve the quality of life of communities.

“Our Fifth District Citizens of the Year have been volunteers who build bridges to get things done in neighborhoods, from Kingsville to Perry Hall and White Marsh and across the Eastside,” Councilman Marks commented. “We look forward to honoring these volunteers in December.”

Please email any recommendations to the office of Councilman Marks by Friday, November 15th. The address is dmarks@baltimorecountymd.gov.
