Marks Plans to Preserve 75 Acres in Southeastern Perry Hall

-Fifth District County Councilman David Marks sent out a statement that he wants to preserve 75 acres in southeastern Perry Hall as open space-

Today, I am announcing that I will recommend preserving 75 acres in southeastern Perry Hall between Honeygo Boulevard, Silver Spring Road, Interstate-95 and White Marsh Boulevard as open space.

This includes the Featherhill, Lawrence Hill, and Tartan Hill areas, communities I have never represented until this term. I will recommend applying the Neighborhood Commons zoning which prohibits any development.

This is likely the last large region in Perry Hall that lacked the Neighborhood Commons zoning. The Comprehensive Zoning Map will be adopted by the Baltimore County Council in late August.
