The Maryland Waterways Foundation and the office of Baltimore County Councilman David Marks organized two community cleanups in White Marsh and Perry Hall on Saturday, March 29 that collected more than 50 garbage bags of trash from major roads and streams.
More than 50 volunteers participated. The targeted roads included Philadelphia and Raphel Roads and the Seven Courts Drive corridor.
“I would like to thank the Maryland Waterways Foundation and all our volunteers for pitching in on this beautiful Saturday morning,” Councilman Marks commented.
“Working together, we can make a real difference for our communities,” added Sam Weaver from the Maryland Waterways Foundation.
Councilman Izzy Patoka, Senator Carl Jackson, and Delegates Ryan Nawrocki and Kathy Szeliga also participated.
