Crews for the Perry Hall station responded to a call for a kitten trapped inside the engine compartment of a car at Weis Supermarket in Perry Hall.
After about 30 minutes of careful, the team safely freed the kitten.
According to Baltimore County Fire Department, the kitten was unharmed and in good spirits.
Baltimore County Fire Department reminds motorists to check under or inside your engine compartment during cold months as small animals often seek warmth and shelter in these spots.
