Perry Hall football advanced to the 4A-3A football State Semifinals.
The Gators will host Mervo in the game this Friday at 6:30 p.m. These teams played in 2022 playoffs with Perry Hall winning 7 to 6.
Mervo won the 4A-3A State Title in 2021 as they defeated Dundalk.
Perry Hall defeated Leonardtown last week 34 to 20 to enter the state final four.
The team is 12-0 on the season and defeated Woodlawn and Towson in the first two rounds.
This is Perry Hall’s first trip to the state semifinals since 1993.
The Gators are looking for their first appearance in the state title game in nearly 50 years (1974).
The school has never won a state title in football.
