Jennings announces five of his bills passed during Session

7th District state Senator J.B. Jennings announced that five of his  bills passed this legislative session:

Senate Bill 309 – Eliminates the tax burden on small investors in precious metals.

Senate Bill 579 – Provides no-cost cancer screenings for our volunteer and retired volunteer firefighters.

Senate Bill 581 – Requires accountability and a clear plan from the Department of Information Technology.

Senate Bill 582 – Protects vulnerable homeowners from predatory live check schemes.

Senate Bill 453 – Ensures the continuation of racing during ongoing construction at Pimlico.

“In addition, I’m proud to have secured two key amendments:

The RELIEF Act amendment requiring landowner notification for new transmission line projects impacting private property. A BRFA amendment restoring historic vehicle tagging,” Jennings said.

“As a Republican working within a supermajority, these are meaningful, hard-earned wins. They reflect a commitment to protecting taxpayers, supporting our first responders, and standing up for property rights.

There’s more work ahead, but we’re delivering results and fighting every day for hardworking Marylanders.”
