Baltimore County passed similar legislation last month

Baltimore County Councilman David Marks applauded the Harford County Council’s passage of Resolution 38-25, introduced by Councilwoman Nolanda Robert, that opposes the expansion of the Days Cove rubble landfill.

He also thanked Harford County Executive Robert Cassilly for his opposition as well.

“The opposition to this proposal now spans Baltimore and Harford County governments, and includes hundreds of residents and other stakeholders who care deeply about our waterways,” Councilman Marks commented.

“I profoundly thank County Executive Cassilly and the Harford County Council for their partnership in opposing this request.  Now, we wait for the state to act.”
