The committee charged with realigning school boundaries in the unoccupied portion of the Greenleigh residential community will host a public information session to provide information and gather public feedback about boundary line preferences and the study process on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Vincent Farm Elementary School cafeteria
6019 Ebenezer Rd. in White Marsh.
The session will include an explanation of the process, a presentation of data and map options, and opportunities to provide feedback. A survey to solicit option feedback will be available online following the public information session and will be open from October 17 through November 3.
While no students currently reside in the area under review, the committee’s study seeks to address boundary line alignment before students move into the study area, including effects on school bus transportation.
Chase and Vincent Farm elementary schools are participating in the study, though no students from either school are currently affected by the study. A second committee meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, at Vincent Farm Elementary School.
The committee welcomes the public to attend all committee meetings or to view the meetings online. Thursday’s meeting will be livestreamed as well. A calendar of meeting times and all meeting materials may be found on the Greenleigh Community Boundary Study website.
