Meeting to be Held on Greenleigh Community School Boundaries

Greenleigh Community Boundary Study

The committee charged with realigning school boundaries in the unoccupied portion of the Greenleigh residential community will hold its first of three meetings on Thursday, Sept. 19 at Vincent Farm Elementary School cafeteria, 6019 Ebenezer Rd., from 6 to 8 p.m.

While no students currently reside in the area under review, the committee’s study seeks to address boundary line alignment before students move into the study area, including effects on school bus transportation.

Chase and Vincent Farm elementary schools are participating in the study, though no students from either school are currently affected by the study.

A second committee meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, and a special public information session will be held from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, to consider data and to collect public feedback and option preferences.

Both meetings will be held at Vincent Farm Elementary School. The committee welcomes the public to attend all committee meetings or to view the meetings online.

This Thursday’s meeting will be livestreamed as well. A calendar of meeting times and all meeting materials may be found on the Greenleigh Community Boundary Study website.
