Baltimore County Public Schools, the nation’s 22nd largest school system and the third largest in Maryland, is hosting two job fairs next week in to recruit teachers for various positions in schools across the county.
The first job fair will be held on Tuesday, August 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. Arbutus Middle School, 5525 Shelbourne Rd.
The second job fair will be held at Dundalk High School, 1901 Delvale Ave. on Wednesday, Aug. 2 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The new starting salary for BCPS teachers begins at $58,500. In addition, a $4,000 signing bonus is available for those who make a three-year commitment to teach at a designated high-need school or teach in a special educatuon position. Interested applicants are asked to start their applications prior to the fair.
