After 9 a.m. Tuesday, the State Highway Administration reopened the section of southbound Wharf Road between the left ramp to southbound MD 151 and south of the MD 151 bridge over Wharf Road.

The left-turn ramp from southbound MD 151 to Wharf Road will be permanently closed. All motorists on southbound MD 151 will now turn right to reach southbound and northbound Wharf Road.

The State Highway Administration understands roadwork can be an inconvenience but is necessary to maintain a safe and reliable highway system.

Drivers are asked to slow down in the work zone for the safety of all drivers and the crews working to improve our roadways.
