Chesapeake Patriot 5K Run and 1K Walk A “Chesapeake Road Runners” Charity Event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Gunpowder Falls State Park, Graces Quarters Road in Chase.
The event is held by the Chesapeake Bay Association, Inc. All proceeds raised go towards environmental and scholarship programs.
Register as an individual or bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run, walk, or stroll, and spread the good cheer along the beautiful Chesapeake Bay while celebrating our Veterans and all patriotic Americans.
Everyone is recommended to wear red, white and blue to celebrate a week before Veterans Day. Awards and cash prizes to winning runners. Awards to walkers and by age groups
Registration is between 8 to 8:55 a.m., opening ceremonies is from 9 to 9:15 a.m. and the run/walk begin 9:15 a.m. Commemorative shirt for the first 400 runners and walkers. $30 Donation per runner or walker.
