Dundalk finally got its offense going and picked up their first win of the season 29-12 at home against Overlea.

Dundalk quarterback Darryl Reid
had two touchdowns passes and running back Qamar Wise had two touchdowns on the ground.
Briscoe had all of Dundalk’s yardage of the Owl’s two-play drive before the half.

Reid connected with Wise on a 30 yard and Wise broke off a 32-yard run for a touchdown to put Dundalk up 21-6 at the halftime.

Overlea jumped out to 6-0 lead when senior Karter Holmes returned an interception for 27-yard touchdown, but the Falcons didn’t score again until the second half.

The Falcons got their running game going with running backs Bryan Mansaray and Andre Drummond and Quarterback Derrick Johnson.

It appeared Overlea scored on a 22-yard run by Johnson but that touchdown was called back from a holding penalty.

That drive ended an interception from Dundalk’s Damari Moore

Dundalk’s defense was led by Rodney Jones who had a big sack to end an Overlea drive before the half.

Reid threw a touchdown pass to Miguel Davis in the third quarter.

He also connected with Logan Alderson in the second quarter for 26 yard touchdown.
Dundalk will look to go 2-2 as they play at Kenwood next week.
Overlea falls to 1-3 and host Dulaney on Friday.
