Dundalk and Eastern Tech get their first football wins of the year. Parkville upsets Dulaney and Sparrows Point is still undefeated. Here is a recap of Week 3 football in eastern Baltimore County:
Eastern Tech 26 Lansdowne 12
The Mavericks picked up their first win of the year over Lansdowne. After starting off 0-2, Eastern Tech can get back to .500 with a road win against Patapsco this Friday at 4 p.m.
Southern 22 Patapsco 12
The Patriots fall to 1-2 after losing on the road in Southern Maryland. Patapsco returns home for the first time since Week 1 against Eastern Tech
Dundalk 42 Overlea 12
Dundalk went into the game 0-2 and Overlea was 2-0, but the Owls easily win this game. Dundalk hosts Kenwood next week. Overlea plays at Dulaney next Saturday.
Hereford 43 Kenwood 24
Kenwood lost a tough game on the road in northern Baltimore County. The Bluebird offense was able to stay in the game from Kairiece Carr’s seven catches, 143 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Kenwood travels to Dundalk
Sparrows Point 27 Chesapeake 6
The Pointers are the only 3-0 in the area as they defeated Chesapeake at home. Sparrows Point was led on the ground by Mikey Manyor. Quarterback Maceo Hardnett had a rushing touchdown. The Bayhawks only score can when Dakari Noble hit senior Malik Parker on a 75-yard touchdown pass.
Sparrows Point travels on the road next week at Loch Raven. Chesapeake will look to get to 2-2 at home against Towson.
Milford Mill 59 Perry Hall 0
The Gators fell to 0-3 for the first time since 2019. Perry Hall made it to the State Semifinals in 2023 & 2024 but are looking for their first win this Friday vs. Parkville.
Parkville 40 Dulaney 19
The Knight were heavy underdogs at home against Dulaney and they won by 21. Dulaney put up 40 points in their first two games but Parkville easily won. The Knights will try to go 3-1 at Perry Hall on Friday.
