Perry Hall Girls Lacrosse was the only team to win a state quarterfinals game this spring season.

The Spring season is over for local high school baseball, softball and lacrosse teams. No teams will be playing for a championship this week or weekend. There were plenty of regional titles.
Here is a rundown over the past week.
Girls Lacrosse
4A
Perry Hall was the only team in the area to make it to the state semifinals in any sport.
After defeating Parkville to win the regionals, Perry Hall won their state quarterfinals at Eleanor Roosevelt 16-9. The Gators season came to an end in the 4A State Semifinals at Paint Branch High School against Urbana 16-9.
2A
Both Sparrows Point and Eastern Tech had a tough draw in their region and neither won a playoff game.
Sparrows Point received a bye and lost to North Harford in the regional semifinals.
Eastern Tech received two byes but lost 18-9 to Hereford in the regional finals.
Boys Lacrosse
4A
Dundalk High won its first regional title in lacrosse during the modern era by beating Perry Hall.
They fell in the 4A Quarterfinals to Urbana.
2A
Eastern Tech and Sparrows Point boys teams had similar tough draws as their school’s girl teams.
Sparrows Point opened the first round with a 22-0 win over Edgewood but fell in the regional semifinals at North Harford 8-7.
Eastern Tech received a first-round bye but then lost at Hereford 12-3 in the regional semifinals
Baseball
4A
Kenwood upset Parkville 6-1
on Thursday to win the 4A North Regional I Finals.
The Bluebirds advanced to the 4A State Quarterfinals but lost 18-0 on Friday at Broadneck.
2A
Eastern Tech defeated Sparrows Point link for the 2A North Region I title link but fell to Hereford at home Saturday 4-2 in the 2A State Quarterfinals.
Softball
4A
Perry Hall beat number one seeded Dundalk 6-3 in the 4A North Regional Finals.
The Gators season ended in the 4A State Quarters as they fell at Eleanor Roosevelt High 12-11.
2A
Sparrows Point upset Eastern Tech on the road 9-5 in the 2A North Regional Semifinals. The Pointers won the region by defeating Chesapeake but their season ended in the quarterfinals at Huntingtown.
