Kenwood & Chesapeake pull off upsets; Dundalk gets first win

Chesapeake and Kenwood both had upset wins. The Bayhawks knocked off undefeated Sparrows Point and Kenwood upsets County powerhouse Hereford. Dundalk gets its first win. Perry Hall, Patapsco and Parkville still winless. Here is a Week 3 recap 

Dundalk 29 Overlea 12
The Owls get their first win of the season by defeating Overlea. Dundalk was led by quarterback Darryl Reid’s two touchdown passes.

Kenwood 28 Hereford 22
The Bluebirds are 2-1 after a huge upset over Hereford. Kenwood looks to go 3-1 at home against Dundalk. Antonio Davis has 97 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the win, including the game winner.

Chesapeake 12 Sparrows Point 6
Kenwood was not the only Essex team to pull an upset as Chesapeake defeated Sparrows Point. The Bayhawks host Towson on Saturday. Sparrows Point is handed its first regular season loss since 2024.

Milford Mill 52  Perry Hall 6
The Gators are 0-3 for the second straight year after losing to Milford Mill. Perry Hall got off to 1-4 last year and won eight straight to make it to the state semifinals. They hope to get their first win at Parkville on Saturday 

Southern 13 Patapsco 12
Patapsco loses a heartbreaker to Southern to fall to 0-3. The Patriots will look for their first win of the year at undefeated Eastern Tech.

Eastern Tech 47 Lansdowne 0
Eastern Tech is now 3-0 after defeating Lansdowne. The Mavericks try to go 4-0 as they host winless Patapsco on Friday.

Dulaney 13 Parkville 12
The Knights just fell short of picking up first win of the year against Dulaney. Parkville will host Perry Hall on Saturday in a battle of 0-3 teams on Saturday.
